Terroristic attacks are rampant nowadays.They take the lives of innocent people.They pursue their plan even if it will ruin other's lives.For all who's been following on top of the New York bomb effort over the last day, they caught the attempted bomber. A merchant in Times Square notified the police of a smoking SUV, to find out there's a self-made explosive device inside. The square was cleared out while authorities defused what was found to be propane tanks, fertilizer, firecrackers, and clocks meant to detonate an explosive device. Nobody was hurt, but had the explosive device gone off it is said that there could have defiantly been deaths. Law enforcement are reviewing hours of video footage from security cameras and found an organization called, The Pakistani Taliban, claiming responsibility for the explosive device.

This NY Bomb scare was another example of how there are people out there who desire to simply hurt and injure others or those with whom they disagree. There are also a lot of people around us who are hurt and injured that need us to be ministering to them. We could certainly prevent a lot of tragedies if we reached out to all those around us! Think of how more personal involvement in the lives of those 9-11 highjackers would have potentially even subverted their plans through those terrorist cells. Similarly, I believe if more had been reaching out to Seung-Hui Cho, it would have kept him from going so far down that path of destruction that he took when forever impacting the lives of so many.
What are usually the things that you've learned in life?Did it make some changes in your personality?It failed to come as much of a shock when the news broke that General Stanley McChrystal would no longer keep his job in the military after making derogatory comments about our President and Vice President in a Rolling Stone interview. Now General David Petraeus is taking the place of General McChrystal. I'm not that surprised that his freedom of speech was basically taken from him. I get that this was a form of insubordination, but he still should have the freedom to speak his mind however he so chooses. Now he may have to live off of payday advances just to survive.
