The Gospel of Jesus Christ as given in the New Testament.
1. People are sinful, and separated from God.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
-Romans 3:23
2. God Loves You
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
-John 3:16
3. Jesus Christ is God's provision for sin.
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
-Romans 5:8
4. We must receive Jesus Christ as our Saviour.
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name."
-John 1:12"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
-Romans 10:9
5. God Commands all to repent.
"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent."
-Acts 17:30
Friend, please take a minute and read through those verses again. The Bible shows us how we can have a personal relationship with Jesus. Knowing Him can give you peace on the inside and a sense of purpose in life. It is important to consider these things today; salvation enables us to go to heaven, while to be lost is to be destined for hell. Now is the time of salvation!
